Title: The Imp and the Demon (a fanfic in three parts)

Summary: Tyrion's bodyguard is more than meets the eye.
A/N: Set during the first three books(which are all that I've read so far) so warnings for spoilers for those, since it's heavily canon-based.

And also, a list of fanfics that I am not going to write(and thus are totally up for adoption) because omg tiiiime, I do not have it. *sad*
Fanfics I'm not going to write:
- (Assassin’s Creed/Prototype) The one where Altair is actually a time-traveled Alex Mercer who is trying to get the Apple in an attempt to get back home, and develops unanticipated attachments on the way. This is also the reason Altair is so bad with water.
- (Prototype/Generation Kill)The one where Alex Mercer is masquerading as trigger-happy, bloodthirsty, socially inept Trombley from Generation Kill(so, not much of a stretch), and outs himself to Lt. Nate Fick by nomming an insurgent to get the intel Nate needs. (also he is annoyed that he doesn’t get to eat what he kills at a distance)
- (Prototype/Generation Kill) The one where Ray Person (and possibly Walt Hasser, Trombley, and Brad Colbert) end up in Manhattan during Prototype, and Alex runs into Ray(without Ray knowing it’s Alex Mercer, terrorist), and Ray kind of befriends Alex through nonstop chatter and his natural Ray-ness.
- (Assassin’s Creed/Generation Kill) One of the guys in Gen. Kill is an Assassin in search of a Piece of Eden.
- (Assassin’s Creed/Left 4 Dead) The one where Desmond Miles has caught the Green Flu and turned into a Hunter. The apple reboots his brain so he’s still Desmond, and he spends the next few weeks trying to find his fellow Assassins and herding, I mean, rescuing survivors.
- (Van Helsing/Prototype) The one where Gabriel Van Helsing gets sent in to deal with Alex Mercer, locates him on a rooftop, and stands there absolutely flatfooted, blurting out “How the hell are you not evil?!” (Because Van Helsing can tell, apparently – it’s canon!)
- (Safehold series/Game of Thrones)The one where Merlin Athrawes/Nimue Alban finds the Seven Kingdoms around her->him when he wakes up and he chips in with Rob Stark, acting as his bodyguard, mentor, and friend, with a fine disregard for station and rank.
- (Avengers/Prototype) The one where Alex pops up to help kill Chitauri during the final battle in Avengers because it’s happening in his town, damnit. And Steve honestly likes something about Alex, but later finds out who and what Alex is, and later still that Alex has to eat living things/people, because that’s how he’s built and he doesn’t have any other options. So yeah, Steve’s in a bit of a moral quandary – on the one hand, a basically good/not-evil person with a strong sense of family, on the other, a human-eating bioweapon.
